Bob Lucido Team first opened its doors in 2008, but our story begins long before that.

Over 42 years ago, Bob Lucido launched his career at the age of 18, becoming one of the youngest people to obtain a real estate license in Maryland. He worked extensively as a salesperson, selling various new home communities in Maryland and developing relationships with many builders and developers.

In 1991, Bob and his wife Tracy founded Builder's 1st Choice (BFC), a new home sales and marketing company that included offices in five states, employed over 300 people, and reached nearly $1 billion in sales. Foreseeing the crash of the real estate market, they opted to close BFC in 2007 before the economic downturn was at its worst.

Bob and Tracy decided to transition into residential resale, and in May of 2008 they founded Bob Lucido Team in Howard County, Maryland. They had three goals for their new company:

1) to become a well-respected team in the industry and deliver first-class service - similar to companies like Ritz Carlton, Lexus, Nordstrom, and Bozzuto.

2) to create a culture where everyone has fun and enjoys coming to work.

3) for all team members to thrive financially and build wealth to support themselves and their families.

At the start, Bob Lucido Team only had a handful of agents in a small office in the brokerage. Determined to grow and succeed, Bob and Tracy invested greatly in marketing from the beginning. They ran recruiting ads in the newspaper, used their relationships with builders to generate new home business, door-knocked neighborhoods in their community. They created their Guaranteed Sale Program, where they guaranteed to sell the home in 120 days or less, or they’d buy it for cash. Providing peace-of-mind to sellers during a challenging real estate market, this true guarantee was rare in the industry, and generated business for Bob Lucido Team.

In a few short years Bob Lucido Team became the #1 RE/MAX team in Maryland and the #3 RE/MAX team in the world, before making the transition to Keller Williams in 2014, where they have been a top performing team since 2014.

In 2016, with three offices and 100 team members in Maryland, Bob and Tracy decided to expand their team, implementing Keller Williams’ Mega Agent Expansion model to partner with agents in new markets, and launched their global real estate division, Lucido Agency.

With sales of $842.7 million and 2,142 closed transactions in 2017, Lucido Agency is a top performing team across all brokerages, as recognized by REAL Trends Inc., and The Wall Street Journal. Lucido Agency has been recognized as #1 team in the world with the largest real estate company in the world, Keller Williams Realty.
