Lucido Agency is now Lucido Global

(Ellicott City, MD - 05/28/21) Lucido Agency, an industry-leading real estate team, is now Lucido Global. The name change reflects the team’s expansion over recent years, and also best positions the team for continued growth.

The team - led by Bob & Tracy Lucido - is the #2 team with Keller Williams Realty, the largest real estate company in the world. In 2020 the Lucido team sold $896 million in volume and 2,444 units. In the first 4 months of 2021, they’ve sold $292.6 million in volume and 733 units.

The Maryland-based team began expanding into other states in 2016, and is currently in 12 different states, 2 countries, and growing. Many Lucido locations have already been doing business as Lucido Global. Due to compliance regulations, only 5 out of the 27 expansion locations have been doing business as Lucido Agency.

“We’ve already branded ourselves as Lucido Global in the majority of our locations over the past few years.” said Lauren Lucido, Director of Marketing. “Advertising regulations vary from state to state, and when we chose Lucido Agency the word ‘agency’ wasn’t regulated like it is today. Since then, more and more states revised their regulations to prevent the word ‘agency’ from being in team names. We pivoted early on by branding ourselves as Lucido Global in those states. Now it’s what makes the most sense to grow and go forward.”

This change was a strategic decision based on multiple factors. The streamlined, consistent Lucido Global name serves to gain even stronger Lucido brand recognition online and across existing locations. It also serves to grow new locations - both nationally and worldwide.

Global is especially fitting for the name, since the team has already expanded into another country. There are 2 Lucido Global locations in Canada - one in Hamilton and another in Toronto.
